Once our team is up and running, we will welcome guest paddlers ages 14 and older who want to try out dragon boating. After signing the waiver, guest paddlers will go through a short training on paddle strokes, commands, and safety rules prior to entering the boat.

Guest paddlers, like all paddlers, must wear appropriate fitting Coast Guard-approved PFDs.  We have some paddles and PFDs for guest paddlers to borrow.  

Guest paddlers may come to up to two practices to see if they want to commit to the team before paying their season dues. Once paid, dues are not refundable for those who have been guest paddlers.
