Welcome!

We are a first-year dragon boat team, located in Astoria, OR.  We welcome all athletes of all skill levels and all ages 14 and over. We train on the John Day River, just east of Astoria, and compete in national and international amateur competitions.

As a member of the Pacific Dragon Boat Association (PacDBA), we follow all policies and procedures of a non-profit dragon boat team; however, we are still in the process of achieving non-profit status.

Our Vision:

To be an inclusive club for paddlers providing positive competition, healthy outdoor activity, team building, and service to the community.

Our Mission:

  • Train and race regionally, nationally and internationally in the sport of dragon boating
  • Provide a competitive sport inclusive of athletes of all abilities, ages fourteen and over.
  • Support community service in the area of health and wellness activities.

We are an inclusive club welcoming all paddlers.  Regardless of your age, abilities, experience, or gender identity, we all enjoy working out, improving our performance, and being on the water together in this beautiful part of Oregon!
